Question 1

What determines the price of Xiaomi / Redmi in Pakistan?

Accepted Answer

Smartphone prices in Pakistan depend on official PTA DIRBS registration status, remaining official distributor warranty, RAM/ROM storage configuration, display condition (zero AMOLED shade, dot, or line issues), and whether the original box and fast charger are included.

Question 2

How can I check if a smartphone is officially PTA approved vs. patched?

Accepted Answer

Dial *#06# on the phone to view its IMEI numbers, verify that they match the physical SIM tray and retail box, and send the 15-digit IMEI via SMS to 8484 (or check on the PTA DVS app). Ensure the returned device model name on PTA DIRBS matches the exact phone model you are purchasing.

Question 3

How do I check if a phone's screen or internal parts have been replaced?

Accepted Answer

Inspect the frame edges for adhesive gaps or pry marks, check camera lenses for internal dust, test biometric sensors (fingerprint and face unlock), and run built-in hardware diagnostics (such as dialing *#0*# on Samsung devices) to test touch sensitivity, speaker clarity, and display color uniformity.

Question 4

How does BazaarGuard protect me when buying Xiaomi / Redmi?

Accepted Answer

Never send advance bank or wallet transfers to unverified sellers. On BazaarGuard, you can check each seller's server-verified Trust Score and book 'Safe Deal Escrow', where your funds remain protected until the phone's physical condition and PTA status are verified.
